We are a Guild of 35 local artists and artisans that sell our work in our store. We operate as a cooperative and share the responsibilities of operating the Guild. There is always an artist on duty operating our store.

Tribal Trends is a woman owned Fair Trade metaphysical/crystal shop. We carry jewelry, clothing, incense, oils, books, tarot cards, and other cool things!

The Mineral Museum serves as a primary resource for education and information on the earth sciences related to geology and paleontology.

In 1995, the 1905 Syndicate Building in Hendersonville was added to our family of stores. Hendersonville was refocusing attention on its Main Street and was looking for key elements to ensure growth in their downtown. The Mast Store fit well with its mix of retail, restaurants, and services. The Mast Store realizes that we all need to do what we can to move toward sustainability. But, we also realize that in some aspects, it is difficult, if not impossible, to proclaim that you are truly sustainable. With that said, we are doing the best that we can and trying to do better as we can.

The Aquarium & Shark Lab is the first inland aquarium in NC, opening its doors 9/2011. The Aquarium houses and cares for over 275 marine fish & invertebrates, along with 2 dozen "adopted" reptiles. Our 2,000-gallon shark study tank is the focus of research being followed by the Field Museum in Chicago. Divers enter the tank during public hours to hand feed and establish behavioral imprinting with our small sharks and rays. Feed is at 1:30 pm Thurs-Sat. The Aquarium & shark Lab is noted for its innovative education programs and marine science internships. Team ECCO welcomes visitors of all ages. We are wheelchair accessible and happy to make adaptations for special needs learners and visitors.
