Public Notices & Hearings

Content Sections

North Carolina General Statues require municipalities to keep the public informed and notified of most items of public business conducted by the City Council and its advisory boards. In most cases, the law requires notice to be published in a newspaper of general circulation. Typically, notices are placed under the "Legal Notices" heading of the Times-News. We also make these notices available to the public on this page. Please visit the City's calendar to view additional events and to access the ZOOM meeting information for a particular meeting if applicable.
