The Resale Store re-sells donated items, such as clothing, small household items and furniture. In the last fiscal year, the store generated over $190,000, which was used entirely to help finance programs and basic needs for survivors of interpersonal violence, and their children, on the local level. The success of this fund-raising effort is due to the large numbers of hours worked by store volunteers and the generosity of the community at large.
Welcome to the Henderson County Genealogical and Historical Society. The Society is a non-profit, 501(c)3, educational, and cultural organization. We have a vast collection of research materials on the heritage of Henderson County and the surrounding areas. We also have a collection of materials from other states around the country.
