... at least that's what my family is calling me. A family member rescued me. I was so hungry I was trying to eat something they call "roadkill." My family has taken such good care of me that I have doubled my weight in almost 2 months since I have been with them. I'm up to a wiry 15 pounds now! My dog dad is Brett Ellison. My family thinks I am pretty special. I have become quite the family dog. I am not happy unless everyone is at home -- where they belong -- so I can watch over them and keep them safe.

Yeah, you read that right. I'm Clint Eastwood ... I'm what people call a rescue -- part Yorkie and part Shih Tzu. I'm two years old in people years. I love car rides with the windows down -- that's why my ears are blowing here! Me and my brother Rocky travel to car shows and love digging in the red mud at the lake with our puppy friends. Jumpin' Jack that is ... because I can jump SO high ... My family got me out of the animal shelter. I guess my handsome looks were just too much to leave there. My vet thinks I'm a mix of golden retriever and Australian shepherd. I was on my own for quite a while. I know how to choose ripe blackberries and "pick" them to eat without getting stuck.
What I believe: SQUIRRELS are taunting, teasing and evil and must be eradicated. Cats and raccoons must be chased away. SQUIRRELS must be eradicated. I love Food! SQUIRRELS must be eradicated. No house is a home without (a lot of) dog hair. White squirrels are vanilla lattes.

Yeti -- Stop bringin' puppies home!!!
It's me Yeti. My mom, Dalleen Jackson, is forever bringing more puppies home. Just as soon as some puppies leave, she shows up at home with MORE! You see, she's what you call a "foster" mom. With my help, she transforms a "shelter" dog into a real "pet" or "family member." She just knows how to do that ... if there's a dog in need, the next thing I know is they are living IN MY HOUSE! It's OK though ... really because the more dogs that get "fostered" leaves space in a shelter to SAVE MORE DOGS! My Mom ROCKS!! Woo-hoo! Don't tell her -- but I secretly love it! I get to make new friends and the chance to teach this post-millennial generation some manners so they can live in a family of their very own. We socialize and play and most importantly learn how to love and trust.

Hey! I'm Tucker! and I ain't nothing but a hound dog ... (I bet you read that in Elvis' voice, now didn't you?) I'm a blue tick hound maybe mixed with a little black and tan -- but completely a hound. I have what they call the good hound-dog bawl which is really my unique musical vocal skills.
I have LOTS of energy and love to drag my people (John B.) on hikes and walks. I simply must smell everything along the way. I cannot miss a single thing. I love to walk so people can see me and I can say "hi" to them. And I love to go to the dog park. I just love to GO period! And I love my family!
You may have heard that we hounds like relaxing in front of the fire, or maybe at my family's feet or on the couch, yep, but when, and only when, I am done tracking rabbits and treeing raccoons or other animals.

Our names are Murphy (7 Yrs) & Ember (2 Yrs). We like to think of ourselves as the "Dynamic Duo", but depending on the day, mom (Kimberly B.) might call us "Partners in Crime." Our favorite things to do are help clean up ANY food that is left unchaperoned for more than 60 seconds, race around the yard, play fetch/keep away, see how many random things we can eat without having a doctor's visit, go on hikes, chase all squirrels and cats (sorry cute kittens), see who can get the most love from any human in sight, and of course snuggle with each other after a long day.
We may bark at you when we first meet you but it's just because we are so excited to make new friends.

My family, Abigail K., adopted me from a high kill shelter two years ago in Clearwater, FL when we lived there. I was returned twice to that awful place but I still can't figure out why. Since then it's been snuggles and squirrel chases non-stop. Did I say how very happy I am now?
I'm a 4 year old, 65 pound pit-mix, but don't let that scare you, 'cause I'm the biggest sweetheart!
I traded playing in the surf at the beach for splashing around in mountain creeks. While I may need a sweater when winter comes creeping in, I am enjoying the transition in location. What's this thing they call snow here? I wonder if I can eat it? Gonna find out pretty soon!

Hi, I'm Tsali -- the top dog. My dad Brent M. thinks he rescued me 4 years ago (but I really rescued him!) I'm an Australia cattle dog mix and super smart! My best friend Lucy is below me in this picture.
We both like hiking, playing fetch, and going mountain biking.
On this particular day we were hiking on Roan Mountain where my dog dad proposed to my dog mom on exactly the same day the previous year. You can see in this pic why these are called the Blue Ridge Mountains ... bea- u - ti - ful!
